Review: L'Oreal Matt And Messy

I have never tried a salt spray before but after all the hype about the bumble and bumble salt spray I just had to give one a go and thought a good option would be the 'L'OREAL MATT AND MESSY SALT SPRAY' and I must say I can understand why it's such a staple product for everyone because it makes your hair so voluminous and if your on two or maybe three day hair this hides the grease really well so you don't have to use dry shampoo along side. When I use this product personally I prefer to use this when I want to put my hair up on a rather hotter day but still keep it looking like I've made some effort, I like to spray the matt and messy into my roots then once I have tied my hair up, add a bit more to the end to help give it more texture. This product does not cake up in your hair so it feels really light and can easily be brushed out, returning your hair back to it's original style and texture, leaving it feel cakey and product free.

The Bikini

So I wanted to share this great bargain bikini for the summer, which I personally think is absolutely gorgeous, so this one is from SPORT'S DIRECT and it's by the brand 'goldigga' and is about £5 for the top and £5 for the bottoms in the sale. The top is bandeau style with tie back and a tie halter neck, and the bottoms are standard briefs.

If you are a bit insecure about having your body out at the beach/swimming pool (we all have those days) then I love to wear swim shorts, you can get them from any sort of sport/beachy shop such as Animal, Fat Face, Sports Direct etc.... and are designed for wearing in the water (there basically like the men's swim shorts but shorter and are for us ladies) I got these one's from Trespass and were also in the sale for about £10.

Statement Jewellery

For quite a while now statement jewellery has been very fashionable (talk about stating the obvious :L) but in most high street shops they can be quite (very :s) pricey. If you wanted to buy one necklace from topshop you would be at least £15-£20 shorter which when your a youngster, such as myself, you can only afford to fork out that much for jewellery as a little treat to yourself every now and again, so I have found some lovely pieces at such a great price...

All of these necklaces can be purchased from GEORGE at ASDA for around £6 each (amazing, I know!) and have many other designs to choose from and are great quality for the price but I do recommend going into the actual shop rather than shopping online because sadly they don't put all of their items online.

Do you have any fashion bargains? let me know in the comments, Love Beth  x

Review: Maybeline The Rocket Mascara

Ok so I think I am actually in love with this product, after hearing the buzz about the rocket mascara around the beauty community I was very intrigued and in desperate need of a new waterproof! At first I was a bit skeptical about buying this product because I have never really liked any of the maybeline mascara's (even though I am a massive fan of the brand) but was pleasantly surprised to see how great this product actually is as it glides onto the lashes so well and is very buildable but still feels very light as if your not wearing any at all which is great if you love big lashes day or night but are fed up of dealing with clumps, such as myself. As most waterproof mascaras do this one also holds a curl very well which all in all ticks all the necessary boxes for me, but even though it's looking good can it actually stand up to the job? as for the waterproof side I would say it's pretty good too, I wore it swimming and I did not leave looking like death which is always a good sign right? the only bad thing I have to say about this mascara is that it's an absolute bugger to get off! :L

Have you tried this product, what do you think? Let me know in the comments :) Love Beth x
