One Pair of Shorts, Three Looks - Summer Look Book.

Even though the weather is pretty gloomy in the uk I am ready and rearing for the summer! From previous experience I would definitely recommended buying shorts before summer as I can never seem to find any good ones when the time comes, so today I am sharing my most recently purchased shorts to create three looks for you :) hope you enjoy.

Outfit One:  'Summers here, but its still a little chilly'

I love this outfit because its very summery and comfy but you can still have the option of throwing on a jacket whilst keeping it cool.

Outfit Two: 'I'm Ready For The Beach!'

This outfit is something I would wear to the beach (with a bikini too)  because its really light, breezy and easy to wear as the top speaks for itself really and the bright orange complements a tan perfectly.

Outfit Three: 'How About We Pop To The Bar While The Sun Sets?'

I think this would be perfect for dropping in to a beach side bar at the end of the day as the top is perfect if you feel like dressing up a bit without going over the top and the beads would reflect beautifully against the sunset but the shorts help tone it down a bit. So thrown on some flip flops and your good to go!

Spring Trousers

I think this outfit would be perfect for British spring time as they are light weight with a very fitting print and can be worn with basic tees for when it starts to warm up a little bit, but can also be worn with cropped tee's in the summer for that comfy boho look. These trousers are very versatile and I would even wear them for an evening at the bar with some wedges and a blazer.

THE Summer Dress!

I am in love with this dress! Coral is such a beautiful color (very flattering for a tan) and have always been a fan of a good old stripe dress. The fit of the dress is extremely flattering because they have cut off the stripe at the waist and stitched through the outer of the bust to give the illusion of curves in all of the right places! It also has a really good length and hits above my knee without being too short.  This is another item that can be worn with sandals for hazy summer day's, or with heels in the evening.

All in all I would definitely recommend having a look at the spring/summer range in Dorothy Perkins. I don't usually buy any of their clothes but I am extremely impressed with this seasons collection and already have a few extra bits from them on my summer wish list.

This bag is a light grey with gold hardware with the option of handles or an adjustable, removable cross body strap. There are three separate compartments, one padded zipper section in the middle for holding electronics such as small tablets, net books and e readers. It also has the two outer sections with magnetic straps one side with a phone slot and card holder/pocket, the other empty. So if you have never heard of Lydia Bright she is a former uk reality star, appearing in the only way is Essex, and also a boutique owner. This dress was designed by her and is available at Asos and Lipstick Boutique, it is currently on sale on both websites reduced from £75 to £52.50 at Lipstick Boutique and £37.50 at Asos. This dress is absolutely beautiful and the camera does not do it justice!

Nike

Hi everyone I just wanted to share a new love of mine, my first pair of Nike trainers! I have always loved high top trainers and wear them with everything, jeans, skirts, dresses, you name it, and since I have been walking holes into my New Look knock offs for the past three years I decided to splurge a little and ended up going for the Nike blazer mid trainers in grey, a perfect color for spring/summer and a timeless piece that I hope will last for a while and work the whole year round.
